1. General description
General terms and conditions of sale is information given by a supplier to a client on the legal conditions of sale of his products or services (price list, terms of payment, price reduction mechanisms …).
2. The benefit of the service
The provisions of conditions of sale differ depending on the customer . In application of the legal obligation of pre-contractual information borne by the seller and as stipulated by article L111-1 of the French Consumer Code, the General Conditions of Sale must be mandatorily communicated when the supply of goods or services is addressed to consumers (B2C relations). In the context of relations between professionals (B2B relations), the Conditions of Sale are optional but must be communicated on request under article L441-6 of the French Commercial Code.
In both cases, your organization must have a pre-prepared document containing the legal conditions of sale of your products and services, to be transferred compulsorily to the consumer or at the request of a professional.
